Imrove your home’s Indoor Air Quality

Breathe easy.

living roomIn a 2007 study involving hundreds of homes across the country, AirAdvice determined just how common indoor air quality (IAQ) problems are. More than 90% of homes have at least one indoor air quality problem, and most homes have more than one. The issues range from comfort-related problems such as humidity, to high allergen levels and high airborne chemical particles that compromise health.

With the HomeAdvice IAQ testing program from AirAdvice, it’s easy to find out what air quality issues you might have in your home. Wouldn’t you at least want to know what’s in your air?

HomeAdvice detects

  • hot and cold spots, high humidity
  • pet dander, dust mites, and other particulates
  • carbon monoxide as well as other gases from structure and household items
  • and more

Home: It’s where we started

In the late 1990’s, John Skardon searched for a way to help his wife’s severe asthma problem. He knew she needed to minimize her exposure particles in the home such as dust, pollens, and pet dander that could trigger a life threatening attack, but these particles were too small to detect by sight or smell. John enlisted the help of Meindert Kleefstra, an electrical engineer, to build an indoor air quality (IAQ) monitor that could identify these tiny particles. Together, they started AirAdvice to help people with asthma and allergies manage their condition by measuring the quality of the air they breathe.

Protect your family. Depend on an HVAC contractor who can show you information about your home’s air quality. If your current contractor can’t perform an IAQ test, find one who can.

Testimonial

The AirAdvice test showed how bad the particle levels were in our home. It was remarkable to see and understand what was really going on. Afterwards, we were able to cut the particle levels by 75%. I would totally recommend the test to anyone who is concerned about their family’s health. — Scott Morris, Medford, OR
