The BuildingAdvice™ System

The program consists of several wireless monitoring devices called satellites and a central communication gateway

The purpose of the gateway is to manage the initial local wireless network setup, store sensor measurement data from the satellites, and to transfer this sensor data to AirAdvice’s database through cellular communications.

There are three types of satellites and a wireless adapter that allows the Model 7100 to join the local wireless network.

The ventilation satellite (Model 730) is a low-voltage transformer powered satellite that consists of a temperature, relative humidity and carbon dioxide sensor for diagnosis of comfort and ventilation issues within a building.

The comfort satellite (Model 720) is a battery operated satellite that consists of temperature and relative humidity sensors for diagnosing comfort issues within a building.

The runtime satellite consists of a comfort satellite and a current sensor (CT) which allows for monitoring of HVAC equipment to diagnose short cycling, fan runtimes, and pump schedules.

A wireless adapter that can be battery powered attaches to the Model 7100 IAQ monitor and allows its 6 sensors to transfer their data over the local wireless network to the gateway. This eliminates the need to find a telephone line to transfer data to AirAdvice.

Don’t wait until tomorrow; realize the benefits of using the BuildingAdvice™ system today.
